Meet Alexandra
Alexandra was raised by her parents David and Maria Karr in Duluth, Georgia. She's been singing since she could talk and at age 2 she memorized her first song, "Be Our Guest." Her family had no idea singing was more than just a hobby until the fourth grade when Alex turned her first solo, "Ode to Joy," into a sassy, soulful performance.
That is when Alex realized she wanted to use her talent to make audiences smile for the rest of her life. This passion and talent earned her many roles and a spot in the Musical Theater program at the University of Alabama. Alex graduated from UA in May 2014 with a double major in Musical Theater, and Telecommunication and Film.
She is very honored that she has the opportunity to work as an acting apprentice at The Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. Her next project is at Stage Door Players where she will be understudying Helena Landless in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood." Her performance dates are July 25th and 26th.
She would like to thank her parents, grandparents, friends, and brother, Dominic, for their continued support and love.
